You Are A Reflection Of Your Thoughts

163318920Have you ever asked yourself why me?

The “why me” question can come up for many different reasons, not all of them negative.  Even for the enlightened among us,  it is sometimes easy to overlook the role  our thoughts in determining who and what we are.   It can be said that we lose our True selves/Spirituality  in the noise of our own thoughts.  The fact that most of these thoughts are focused on the negative aspects of our experiences certainly doesn’t help either.

Thoughts/Ideas are very potent and precede the existence of things and experiences.  They are in the realm of creation itself.  An interesting statistic pointed out in the article referenced below is that “You form about 60,000 thoughts every single day and about 95% of those thoughts get exactly recreated the following day.”  If you just think about this a moment in the context of what we call the Law Of Attraction it is easily seen how we keep what ever we think about “alive” or active in our life. So taking this facet one step further we can easily understand why the only way to really create change is to change the underlying supportive thoughts and ideas that sustain the undesired.  As it is so well put in Rom 12:2 “do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind“.

How To Discover Your True Self/ Awareness of Self

An awareness of Self/Being-ness /I Am-ness (your True Self) is required to live a Truly Spiritual life.   The awareness of Self is at the core of all Spiritual disciplines and yet it is missed by most.  The fact of the matter is that our conscious awareness, acceptance or understanding of this fact is irrelevant as life unfolds.

The awareness of our Spiritual Essence is hidden by our tendency to identify and place/misplace of our I AM-ness/Beingness in egocentric thought, emotions, situations and things.  However, this misplacement is not undetected.  It results in various forms of  lack of fulfillment, emptiness and a yearning for fulfillment and completion.

The Attainment of Peace

Attaining Peace

“We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves.” – Dalai Lama XIV

Subjective Reality

The outer world is a reflection or manifestation of our inner world. Therefore any changes that occur in our lives must originate from our Spiritual essence that is found within us. You see, … there is what is called the First Cause principle. In Truth … everything that we experience originated/s as an idea in Mind(Spiritual Essence) at some point prior (It is important to remember that in Truth the concept of time is not a factor).

The law of attraction is based on these principles. Its study and application is a quest to cleanse our inner selves of limiting thought patterns that cause conflict and various limitations in life. As we cleanse our inner Being/Spiritual Essence we allow the Original Ideas held in Divine Mind that form the essence of our very existence to fully express and manifest throughout our lives and everything in it. To sum it up…the goal is to have our lives reflect the Truth, the Original Universal Divine Idea Of Perfection that we are crated to be in Divine Mind here and now.

As it is so eloquently stated in Romans 12:2:
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” – Romans 12:2
